if you have a question about how felidae works, what's the first thing you should do? well, read the threads in the board about. that usually clears up confusion. but if you read it, carefully and thoroughly, feel free to ask here! likewise, if you want to suggest something to us, like maybe a cool new code or some way that felidae could improve, post it here. we're always open for suggestions!

just joined us here are felidae maximus? read up on the rules and explored a bit? unsure of what to do and too shy to talk in the cbox? then come in, make an introduction. talk about yourself. most of us don't bite.

of course the staff get their own hideout! we're staff, duh! we have water slides, coffee machines, pinball games- no, really. this is a place to plan and scheme and try and make felidae the best it can be. seriously. we returned the pinball machine last week.

leaving us already? if you're going on a vacation for an extensive stay, just pop by here and let us know. that way, we'll know not to delete you when activity checks roll around. but if something's come up and you want to leave forever, then notify us. we're sorry to see you go, but don't just disappear without a trace!

if you have everything that is required on your application in the form that's been posted, and it's satisfied our moderators, but suddenly disappeared, where do you think it went? ooh! ooh! over here! you may not roleplay until your character is accepted, and there are several sub-boards that seperate cat applications accordingly.

in the middle of the clearing between the cliff walls and the sea, there is a large pile of rocks. these rocks are brittle, and if you claw at them they crumble to nothing but sand. but there are many of them, and if you step in the right places they make an ideal location for a clan gathering.

the leader's den is set a little ways apart from the others, on the adjacent wall, closest to the warrior's den. there's a cliff overhang above it, and there is a small cave inside. it's roomy, and a few well-placed stones and sparse bushes hide it well.

the warrior's den is in the little crook as the walls of the cliff make a ninety degrees angle, adjacent to the leader's den and next to the others. it has the largest tunnel leading into it, and there is always one or two warriors generally upkeeping them.

the apprentice's den is squeezed between the warrior's den and the elder's den, but actually has a small opening in the stone that connects the two caves. it's not very big, and particularly large cats will not fit, but provide as communication between the two. the apprentice's den is less roomy, but then, they are smaller cats.

the elder's den is situated in the far end of the clearing, closer to the nursery than any other. it's not a cave, exactly, but a rocky cliff hangs over it, providing a roof, and several large boulders provide places to sleep behind and hide. it's the most open of all the dens, and the elders are usually fond of the fresh breeze blowing in at night.

there is a small, marshy area near one of the ocean's inlets and the forest meet. it's not unlike shadowclan land, damp and dark and full of large, looming trees, but there are many unfamiliar animals that make up the surroundings. there are large, toothy reptilian beasts with long jaws and even longer bodies, that could snap up a cat in a single bite! kits and apprentices are always warned to stay away. far away.

you like to do art, right? always loved drawing? well, hop on by and show off your work to us! we'll ooh and aah and make you feel oh-so-special inside. members may make their own 'shop' inside where they can sell art for freshkill points, or just offer them for free. just stop by, will you?
